The Prime Minister has appointed to the committee known as the Speaker’s Committee on the Electoral Commission, established by section 2(1) of the Political Parties, Elections and Referendums Act 2000, Lee Rowley to serve on the committee pursuant to section 2(3) of the Act, and Felicity Buchan to carry out concurrently the functions of the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities on the committee pursuant to section 2(2A)(b) of the Act.
